______ Emmanuel Allen and his granddaughter Lucy. Yes, people, our beloved Emmanuel dies. That is why the sands in his hourglass are all in the bottom. But don't worry, he's probably up in Heaven with Gabriel and all his hippie buddies from the 60s, catching up and singing Jefferson Airplane songs. Think of it as the ultimate retirement plan. Man, I tried drawing them in different clothes...and it feels weird. Lucy reminds me a bit of Mary in that green shirt and Emmanuel's dressing like my grandpa (he wears sweaters a lot). But I also kinda like it...it's mixed feelings really. I like how they both came out. More so Emmanuel than Lucy.
