Head's up, I'm heading down to Memphis this Friday. Our football team managed to make playoffs this year and so the school is allowing students to come watch their game. So around 2 o'clock in the afternoon I'll be getting on a bus along with many other teenagers and we'll drive for about two or three hours to watch a game, and then come back.
Oh, and I'm job hunting. Last Thursday night I was going by Target to get some creamer for my mom and her coffee, and whenever I came to a stop my engine started smoking up. So I went into Target to get the creamer and came back out, and my car wouldn't start because the engine was way too hot. Turns out that the tube-thingy connecting my engine and my radiator had a hole in it and the engine got too hot. So we took it to Pep Boys for repairs, and it turns out I need to get my brakes and something else repaired too.
So, in general, I need to get up off my lazy ass and get a freakin' job.
People doing the VAs for my English project, I am just about done with it. My retarded computer decided to restart for updates and I lost said script, and had to rewrite it. Expect it by tomorrow.
...That is all.
*END EDIT*
Ladies and gents, I am in desperate need of your help. So please read.
In my English class, we're currently reading Canterbury Tales. As a project relating to this story, my teacher has assigned us to make a five-to-ten minute video of sorts about a modern day Canterbury pilgrimage. It can be any form of media, and my teacher actually asked that I'd do a clay-mation piece. I've decided instead to do an anime-ish computer-drawn animation for my project, and have been working on it for the last few days.
Here's where you all come in: I need voice actors to voice the script of the video. So if there is anyone with a computer microphone that wants to give voice acting a shot that is willing to help me maintain my B or even make it an A, please send me a note. It is due on the 20th of this month (in other words, 15 days) so it is absolutely dire that this be taken care of ASAP. Please read the next paragraph as to what I am looking for in a VA for the characters:
June: TAKEN by
June's character is kind-hearted and sweet. She wears her emotions on her sleeve, so feel free to be as expressive as necessary. It should also be noted she tends to giggle when she talks (when to do so will be provided in the script)
Anna:
Anna is very girly, and talks with a valley girl accent. She uses words such as "like", "totally" and "oh my god" frequently in speech (This will be provided in the script). She also tends to get confused a bit.
May: TAKEN by
May is an eccentric bookworm. She sounds kind of spacey when she talks, like she's kind of in her own world. But she also uses big words, showing she has intelligence behind that spacey facade of hers. I will provide pronunciations of said big words in the script.
The Teacher:
The Teacher is a small role. For the role he is mentioned in, he speaks in a very exhausted and bored manner.
The Restaurant Cook:
The restaurant cook works at a local diner where most of the story takes place. He is a simple and friendly man that enjoys hearing stories from his customers, and makes a deal with the three girls at the restaurant.
The Narrator: TAKEN by Tommy Whipperman (former classmate/now college/facebook buddy)
Another semi-small role. He, or she, will introduce the characters and setting. If I can manage it, it will be written in the same poetic pattern as Canterbury Tales, so be prepared to rhyme.
First come, first serve. Please, only send me a note if you have the proper equipment and can have it done before the due date. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to any and all responses.
